Latin America’s digital policy debate heads to Barcelona for Mobile World Congress 2018
From 26 February to 1 March, the global digital ecosystem will gather in Barcelona for MWC18, including Latin American telecommunications leaders from the public and private sector. Andrés Ibarra, Minister of Modernisation of Argentina; David Luna, Minister of Information Technologies and Communications Colombia; Susana Balbo, W20 Chair; Ana Carolina Cosse Garrido, Minister of Industry, Energy and Mining Uruguay; Carlos Moltini, CEO Telecom Argentina; Alfonso Gómez Palacio, CEO Telefónica Colombia; and Stefano de Angelis, CEO Tim Brasil, are some of the key figures who’ll be taking part.

The GSMA will serve as Topic Chair of the digital inclusion theme at W20, and Susana Balbo, Chair of this engagement group at G20 Argentina 2018, will be taking part as a keynote speaker during the Women4Tech session of the central conference (Thursday 1 - 09:30 - Hall 4 Auditorium 1).
