During a round table in Quito, the GSMA launched a new study that reveals the high tax burden on Ecuador’s mobile sector and proposes three reforms that would help to encourage digital inclusion and increase the country’s GDP.

Kenya’s mobile industry has replicated the initiative launched by GSMA Latin America in 2014 to join forces for a safer mobile environment. With the support of local government, mobile operators and Kenya’s telecom regulator signed a Child Online Protection Charter.
