Rennes, France/Hamburg, Germany, April 24th, 2012 – Astellia and VOIPFUTURE today announced their partnership to complete Astellia’s network monitoring solution for 2G, 3G and LTE networks with VOIPFUTURE’s offering. Astellia, forerunner in monitoring solutions for optimization of mobile network QoS and QoE, and VOIPFUTURE, the leading provider of voice quality monitoring in IP networks, combine their best of breed technology for a superior QoS and QoE solution.

This answers the growing demand in the global market for Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) and Long Term Evolution (LTE) monitoring solutions. The rapidly growing number of deployments in the next couple of years will open new avenues of opportunity for Astellia and VOIPFUTURE.

Astellia’s probe-based monitoring solution provides mobile network operators with a deeper understanding of E2E network efficiency (from radio access to core), subscriber behavior and experience, handset performance, voice and data services. VOIPFUTURE’s technology is designed to control and improve voice quality in IP networks, such as modern IMS and LTE mobile networks. The solution uses a combination of packet flow analysis and deep packet inspection to monitor and analyze VoIP services. Its unique KPIs support mobile operators and carriers in their move to IP by providing essential information to management, customer care and operations.

“This partnership allows us to address our customer’s new challenges with IP-based voice transmission in 3G and 4G networks. Hereby we complete and strengthen Astellia’s Core solution in VoIP and VoLTE.” stated Emmanuel Audousset, EVP Business Development of Astellia. “Mobile operators will greatly benefit from Astellia’s profound mobile expertise and VOIPFUTURE’s innovative RTP and MOS monitoring technology.” he added.
