CitiDirect BESM Mobile Receives Overall Most Innovative Award

New York, NY – April 23, 2012 – CitiDirect BESM Mobile has received the Overall Most Innovative 2012 Monarch Innovation Award, presented by Barlow Research Associates, Inc.  CitiDirect BESM Mobile is a service offered by Citi Transaction Services.

These awards are made to recognize innovations within the financial services industry.  Awards are presented to financial institutions and industry partners that provide the most innovative products to business customers as well as recognize risk takers who create and promote innovation within their organizations.

Developed by the Citi Innovation Lab Dublin in conjunction with the CitiDirect® Online Banking technology team, CitiDirect BE Mobile allows clients to access core transaction functionality available with CitiDirect®, Citi’s institutional online banking platform.  With this service, mobile users can:

  • Receive alerts and authorize and release payments for straight through processing
  • Check account balances and  transaction status providing for added convenience
  • Optimize usability of their mobile phones with an enhanced user interface design
