DANYCOM has joined GSMA

DANYCOM Group of Companies, providing telecommunication services in Russia and abroad, has joined international association GSMA.  DANYCOM will take part in GSMA working groups on fighting against fraud and increasing security in telecommunication services.

DANYCOM has become an associated member in category “Open Connectivity Solution Provider” in the area of SMS Hub Providers. DANYCOM has been working for 6 years in Russian and international A2P SMS (application-to-person) market. It is one of the top three by number of sent A2P SMS in Russia. It holds 11% in the mobile communication market and 14% in the aggregator segment (according to J`son & Partners Consulting). Its market share of the world SMS traffic reaches 1%.

Participation in GSMA SMS-aggregation initiative will enable DANYCOM to share the experience of delivering secured and guaranteed messages on a global scale with other operators.  It will also give an opportunity to develop and improve technologies and ways of SMS-delivery with the world community, including a new standard of SMS exchange RCS (rich communication services). Moreover, membership in the Association provides access to the best business organization practices of the world telecommunication market leaders.

GSMA coordinates and protects the interests of telecommunication industry companies all over the world. The members of the Association include about 750 mobile network operators and another 400 companies working in digital services.
