MACH First To Launch Revenue Assurance Over The Cloud

Cloud-based CASHBACK v8 solution detects and analyzes revenue leakage in near real-time; helps operators use resources more efficiently

Luxembourg, 19th February, 2012 – MACH, the leading provider of cloud-based managed communication services, today revealed the telecom industry’s first revenue assurance solution available over the cloud. Processing close to one billion transactions in near real-time monthly, CASHBACK v8 provides end-to-end revenue assurance and has already been installed with a number of global telecoms operators. As a cloud-based solution, it speeds revenue leakage detection and allows operators to focus their resources more efficiently.

Revenue leakage is a real problem for telecoms operators worldwide, particularly at a time when margins are being squeezed and competition is tough. Analysys Mason estimated leakage at 5% to 15% of total operator revenues, suggesting a solution for accurate and efficient revenue assurance is needed more than ever. Most revenue assurance systems installed today are costly, licensed on-site solutions requiring regular maintenance and upgrades and large teams of in-house expert analysts to run. As the first cloud-based solution, MACH’s CASHBACK v8 not only alleviates these issues, but also analyzes data in near real-time and aligns to other common revenue leakage problems, such as fraud, in order to improve productivity and efficiency of detection.

Joseph George, Director, Revenue Protection and Interconnect, MACH, commented: “MACH delivers revenue assurance solutions to multiple operators globally. As the first vendor to launch a revenue assurance solution over the cloud, we are especially proud of

CASHBACK v8. Not only is it quick to market and instantly scalable to an operator’s needs, but it also provides operators with comprehensive intelligence and broad team knowledge that goes beyond the scope of most other comparable solutions.”

As a cloud-based solution, CASHBACK v8 allows operators to focus their resources more efficiently by removing the need to continually maintain and update systems and recruit and train analysts with the latest intelligence. It comes with a new Graphics User Interface (GUI) with advanced dashboard and reporting functionality, which aligns it with MACH’s FAME Fraud Protection System, allowing operators to look at both fraud and revenue assurance as two sides of the same coin and ensuring protection from all possible sources of revenue leakage.

As both cloud-enabled and cloud-ready, CASHBACK v8 can reside on MACH’s premises, while accessing operator data over the cloud and using MACH’s expertise for comprehensive analysis. Alternatively, the system can reside in an operator’s premises, so avoiding data privacy issues. All CASHBACK systems are updated via the cloud, and monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
