Orga Systems chosen to manage operator’s business support systems (BSS) and third-party applications

Paderborn (Germany), 18 December 2012: Orga Systems has signed an on-going managed services agreement with a Brazilian tier-one operator to support the operator’s BSS and overall billing environment. Using Orga Systems’ streamlined management services, the agreement will enhance the operator’s ability to offer customer centric services, improve productivity and continue its rapid growth.

Improving quality and efficiency of BSS and 3rd party applications
The agreement will also give the operator the opportunity to have a supplier in charge of its BSS with Orga Systems, delivering solutions and services which focus on operational predictability, precision of execution, service guarantee and cost-efficiencies.

Orga Systems will not only manage the operator’s BSS, it will also be responsible for third-party applications, such as the modules responsible for managing:

  • All the operator’s mediation for top-ups, promotions and balance inquiries;
  • On-line network transactions and interconnectors;
  • Database management of historical data of prepaid customer transactions;
  • Collection of external database and interaction with charging systems.

The focus on process, cost and optimising service management through a structured managed services contract will harmonise the operator’s billing system and help to enable more profitable business.
