One of the winners of “Manchester United” Summer Soccer School, organized in Baku by the First Mobile Operator and the Leading Mobile Internet Provider of Azerbaijan and Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA) – Tamerlan Rizvanov participated in World Skills Final 2013 organized by this school in the city of Manchester.
Manchester United Summer Soccer School (MUSSS) which was brought to Azerbaijan by Bakcell in the frame of partnership with Manchester United turned into one of the main events of the passed summer. The Soccer School which gathered kids aged 8-12 from all regions of Azerbaijan aimed to unveil young talents.
The difficult selection process of the kids was patronized and controlled by Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA) and 32 young talents were chosen between more than a thousand participants to take part in the Summer Soccer School held at Bakcell Arena.
6 winners of Summer Soccer School organized in Baku by Bakcell and AFFA – Samir Maharramli, Turan Velizade, Zeynaddin Abdurrahmanov, Tamerlan Rizvanov, Khayal Aliyev and Nigar Mirzaliyeva visited Manchester, the legendary “Old Trafford” stadium, “Manchester United Soccer School” and the team’s training field in August 2013.
One of our young talents – Tamerlan Rizvanov has won through to the Manchester United Soccer Schools World Skills Final and travelled to Manchester to participate in this tournament. Tamerlan competed with winners of other skills challenges of all other courses in the UK and around the world.
Skills Final held between October 17th – 20th 2013 were followed by different entertainment activities, including visits to Manchester United’s training grounds, history museum and live game at “Old Trafford” Stadium. Skill Final 2013 winners were announced in the half time of the game and praised with trophies.
