Second Post Quantum Network Seminar at MWC Las Vegas 2023

Blair has 30+ years of IT cybersecurity sales, channel, marketing and business development experience starting as Symantec’s 1^st Canadian employee.  Blair continuously expanded his cybersecurity and cryptographic expertise with several start-ups including Chrysalis-ITS (Thales), Titus, InfoSec Global, Crypto4A and since September 2019,  is happily back with his data protection colleagues within Thales’ Global Technology Alliances team, inclusive of the Quantum Cryptography portfolio.  He is an avid presenter, start-up consultant and IT industry contributor (including the CFDIR PQC Working Group). Blair holds an Hons.BA from the University of Waterloo, and Wilfrid Laurier University, Ontario, Canada.

Ariston Collander is a cybersecurity GRC professional with over 20 years of experience across a diverse set of technical areas, nearly a decade of which has been with AT&T. His current role with AT&T is focused on cybersecurity risk management as part of the Governance, Risk, Compliance, and Engagement organization within the Chief Security Office.

Natasha Eastman is the Chief of Operations for Threat Hunting in CISA’s Cybersecurity Division. She also leads CISA’s Post Quantum Cryptography Initiative, an effort focused on supporting cryptographic modernization in the Federal, State and Local, and Critical Infrastructure Sectors.  Prior to assuming these duties, Natasha was CISA’s Senior Liaison to the National Security Agency for Cyber from the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency.

Natasha has held senior management roles in cybersecurity, policy, compliance, risk management, and management consulting, having worked for and advised companies, government agencies, and non-profit organizations on security, operations, strategy, and regulatory issues. She has also served in the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Policy, the US Intelligence Community, and at the Combating Terrorism Center at West Point, where she worked on counter-terrorism, defense, and security issues.

Natasha is a Term Member with the Council on Foreign relations and has been a fellow at SOFWERX, attached to U.S. Special Operations Command, New America, a think tank in Washington, DC, and GPPi, a think tank in Berlin, Germany.  She served as a member of the inaugural Cyber Advisory Committee to the Captain of the Port of New York, U.S. Coast Guard and was awarded the Army Achievement Medal for Civilian Service while working at West Point in 2009 and the CISA Innovation Award in 2019.

Taylor Hartley is a Network Security Solutions Architect for Network Product Solutions for Ericsson North America. Prior to joining Ericsson in 2022, Taylor served in the US Navy for 8 years specializing in military intelligence and wireless signals. Today, Taylor focuses on cybersecurity, US Government collaboration efforts, and emerging technologies, such as quantum, AI/ML, and 6G. Taylor represents Ericsson in a variety of working groups and committees including GSMA, CTIA, ATIS, IEEE, NIST, and CSCC.

Taylor is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and holds an MBA from the University of Colorado.

Chris leads commercial business development, corporate development and strategy for SandboxAQ. He formerly led finance and strategy for Primer.ai, a machine learning enterprise software company and began his private sector career in M&A with Moelis & Company, a global independent investment bank. Chris spent eight years in the US Army as an infantry and special forces officer. He holds two master’s degrees from Duke University and Johns Hopkins University and received a BS from the United States Military Academy.

Luke Ibbetson has been with Vodafone since 1996 and currently leads the Vodafone Group Research and Development organisation, responsible for all aspects of future research including trials of emerging / disruptive technologies, new industry partnerships and the creation of future revenue engines through advanced technology. Luke is an active participant in Industry Initiatives including 5GAA (Board member), Chairman of the NGMN 5G Board Committee, Vice Chair for the GSMA Post Quantum Telco Networks Task Force, Advisory Board for UK TechWorks, and Board member for several venture backed new technology companies in which Vodafone has invested including AST Space Mobile. Luke is a proud pioneer of Narrow Band IoT technology and currently shaping Vodafone’s thinking on 6G. Luke is a passionate supporter of innovative thinking, helping to create new opportunities for technology to change lives and society for the better.

Zygmunt is responsible for Quantum-Safe for IBM’s Global Telecom Industry – how to secure networks, devices and systems in a world where Quantum Computers are widespread. Previously he has worked with clients in 44 countries on Telco Cloud, NFV infrastructure, Edge Computing, Security and IN. Zygmunt is a Member of the IEEE and an alumnus of Imperial College London.

Ray, an engineer with over 20 years of experience in the telecom industry, leads business development activities in North America. He assists customers in understanding the impact of technological changes on current business landscapes and identifies future opportunities.

His career began at IBM’s ThinkPad division, where he oversaw the certification of the first ThinkPad notebooks with integrated cellular networks. Since then, Ray has collaborated with major mobile operators in the U.S. and Canada, witnessing significant technology events from Y2K to the launch of 3G and the digital transition to eSIM. Now, as part of IDEMIA’s team, he guides customers in preparing for quantum computing.

Gabriela is part of Vodafone’s Cyber Security team and has worked in and out of the telco industry for the last 15 years, covering Cloud, On-Prem and everything in between. As a Secure by Design expert she ensures Vodafone projects are equipped to handle tomorrow’s cyber threats, today.
