Aicent Names Marc Zionts As New President and CEO

Recognized leader in mobile telecommunications, Mr. Zionts joins Aicent to lead company to the next stage of growth and development

San Jose, CA – September 9, 2013 – Aicent, a leading provider of mobile data network services and solutions for global mobile operators, today announced that Marc Zionts will join the Company as President and Chief Executive Officer on September 9, 2013 and will be based in Aicent’s San Jose, CA headquarters. Mr. Zionts will succeed Lynn Liu, who has led Aicent since its founding in 2000. Ms. Liu will continue to contribute to Aicent as an advisor to Mr. Zionts and as a member of the company’s board of directors.

Mr. Zionts, a highly experienced telecom executive and entrepreneur, has spent almost three decades developing emerging technologies and strategies for leading telecommunications companies. He comes to Aicent most recently from Allot Communications where he held the position of Vice President, Strategic Mobile Service Providers. Previously, he was the CEO of Ortiva Wireless, which was acquired by Allot Communications.
