MACH Speeds Up Roaming Partner On-Boarding Process By Up to 20%

Roaming Implementation Manager solution automates workflows and provides progress-reporting capabilities

Luxembourg, 23rd August, 2012 MACH, the leading provider of cloud-based managed communication services, today announced the launch of a new solution that facilitates and accelerates the process of launching roaming partners for mobile network operators, allowing them to rapidly increase visibility and roaming coverage. The Roaming Implementation Manager solution can deliver efficiency gains of up to 20% by automating and streamlining many of the manual steps required to launch a new roaming partner.

With the global roaming market set to hit $45.1billion in 2012[1], mobile network operators have a significant opportunity to grow their roaming businesses by broadening roaming coverage through new partnerships. Until now, the processes involved in on-boarding a new roaming partner and reporting on progress have been laborious, leading to significant administrative overheads and a lack of clarity into the status of implementation projects. MACH’s Roaming Implementation Manager solution lets roaming managers optimize any type of workflows for any processes they use to launch a new roaming partner. An online reporting module provides operational dashboards, allowing management to check on progress and identify any bottlenecks holding up the implementation process.

Rasmus Holst, Senior Vice President, Market Offering, MACH, commented: “MACH already helps numerous operators across the globe to manage, monitor and optimize their roaming relationships, so we feel the next logical step is to help them establish those relationships in the first place. A combination of MACH’s significant expertise and heritage in roaming, coupled with direct input from the people responsible for launching new partnerships, has allowed us to build an intuitive tool which can reduce administrative overheads by up to 20%. For operators, this means new roaming revenue opportunities can be capitalised upon more quickly, giving them a head start on their competitors.”

Designed in consultation with roaming managers from leading mobile operators, Roaming Implementation Manager belongs to MACH’s M Vision portfolio of managed services. The M Vision portfolio combines MACH’s Portal, a state-of-the-art tool for aligning business processes and combining business management with actionable business intelligence, with its Applied Business Intelligence suite, allowing operators to manage their complete business in a coherent and unified manner.
