As Infrastructure Economics Director, Guillaume is supporting GSMA’s efforts to tangibly assist operators in bridging the mobile broadband coverage gap across emerging markets. Guillaume’s work has consistently focused on the development of the mobile industry across AMEA for the past 10 years. His prior roles in the industry involved developing market strategies in collaboration with C-Level management to enhance value generation of mobile products and services across mobile operations in the Middle East and Sub-Saharan Africa. As a consultant, he advised a wide variety of MNOs on organic as well as external growth strategies. He also led projects looking at the regulation of interconnection, broadband networks roll out and content digital strategies. Guillaume has worked extensively in Indonesia, Thailand, Congo Brazzaville, Ivory Coast, Mali, Jordan and Kenya. Guillaume holds an MSc in Media & Communication Regulation & Policy from the London School of Economics as well as a BSc in International Relations. He is fluent in French, English and Spanish.
