Mobile Money Marketing Manager
Marianna joined the GSMA Mobile Money team in May 2017, and manages the strategy and delivery of the team’s global marketing and communications activities. Marianna has a background in leading integrated communications and digital marketing campaigns across a diversity of sectors including health, human rights and mobile for development. Marianna has previously worked as Digital Marketing Manager at the GSMA, overseeing digital outputs across all Advocacy teams, and as Team Lead of Community Management at Main Street Hub, a full service content marketing agency in Austin, Texas. Marianna began her career with internships at 28TooMany, a charity campaigning for women’s healthcare in Africa and at Equitas - International Centre for Human Rights in Montreal, Canada, before working as an Account Executive at a London-based public affairs agency specialising in developing world issues. Marianna holds a Bachelor of Arts in European Social and Political Studies from University College London.
