Connected Society Innovation Fund

Welcome to the GSMA Connected Society Innovation Fund for Rural Connectivity.

The GSMA Connected Society programme works with the mobile industry and key stakeholders to increase access to and adoption of the mobile internet, focusing on underserved population groups in developing markets.

The Connected Society Innovation Fund for Rural Connectivity aims to support innovative mobile internet connectivity solutions for unconnected rural communities. Funded projects will test innovations that overcome the barriers currently preventing mobile network operators (MNOs) from deploying mobile internet coverage in rural areas.

This fund is available for applications interested in proposing innovative commercially sustainable and scalable mobile internet coverage solutions in Ghana or Uganda. These will be solutions that can connect with the core network of one of the partner MNOs working with the GSMA.

Please note: We are not currently accepting applications.
