Using your data to drive growth in mobile financial services – Wednesday, 27 July at 16.30 EAT

Across Africa, women are consistently less likely than men to use mobile money. Successfully targeting female subscribers would, not only advance women’s financial inclusion, but could unlock a significant revenue opportunity for the industry.

Customer analytics can help operators to understand different segments within their user base and the mobile money customer journey from registration to trial and use. If operator data is the oil reserve then customer analytics is the pipe to extract this valuable reserve.  How can we use this valuable resource with a gender lens to identify opportunities for better targeting and reaching women with mobile money?
Join us for an interactive discussion on approaches to analysing your data to better understand the mobile money customer journey and identify opportunities for driving uptake and use by women.

Nika Naghavi, Mobile Money Data Manager, GSMA
Claire Sibthorpe, Head of Connected Women, GSMA
