Biscate, or ‘odd job’ in Portuguese, is a service cobranded with Vodacom Mozambique that allows informal and often uncertified skilled workers throughout the country to register and advertise
their services with any basic mobile phone using USSD technology. Biscate offers potential customers access to a register of workers sorted by trade, location and experience level. Once a job
has been completed, customers can rate workers.
