Kara is an Insights Manager for the Mobile Money team. Prior to this, Kara was the Assistant Operations Manager for the AgriTech programme, where she assisted in project management, research and insights, and engagement activities.

Previous to joining GSMA in December 2019, Kara was based in the Netherlands completing a Double MSc in Public Policy and Human Development with the United Nations University – MERIT/Maastricht Graduate School of Governance. Here she specialised in Risk and Innovation, and completed a thesis in Artificial Intelligence policy.

Kara also has a Bachelors in Law and Philosophy in which she gained from Kent University in 2016.
