It was heartening to read about the support of James Wolfensohn, former World Bank President, for the mWomen agenda. Calling for “a cellphone for every woman” in the IHT, the Global Edition of the New York Times on Friday 15 June 2012, he highlighted how gender inequity should be a major focus for the world leaders gathering in Brazil for the Rio+20 summit meeting on sustainable development next week.
