How does mobile empower me? Angie’s story

Over a billion people worldwide live with a form of disability, 80 per cent of whom live in a low- or middle-income country. Only one in 10 has access to the assistive technology they need to live more independent and productive lives. Following our research in Kenya and Bangladesh to understand the mobile disability gap, the GSMA Assistive Tech team wanted to hear more from people with disabilities about how mobile enables greater inclusion.
