Helping deaf children in Saudi Arabia to improve their communication skills
In Saudi Arabia, STC worked with the Saudi Association of Sign Language Interpreters to support a speech skills, speech therapy and behavioural therapy programme.
15 children took part in the programme at a specialist medical centre in Riyadh and attended an STC event to celebrate their participation. There is now a place within the medical centre for consultations on cochlear implants.
Other STC social responsibility initiatives include a collaboration with the Kafeef Association for the Blind and providing support for International Stuttering Awareness Day.
