Nurturing creativity and knowledge in the Middle East
Zain has developed a number of e-learning services that supplement a child’s school education by enabling them to learn through play. This includes the Kidotainment app, which is available in Iraq and Saudi Arabia.
Kidotainment provides a rich library of content, including more than 1,700 videos in both English and Arabic and gamified educational content for children. The main objective is to nurture creativity and knowledge in the home environment.
By offering high-quality e-learning services, which can be accessed via a mobile device, Zain supports children’s rights to play and education. In Iraq, for example, where around three million children are out of school, e-learning can have a big impact. As Jennifer Suleiman, Chief Sustainability Officer at Zain, says, “It’s important that applications and services that give children the opportunity to learn are developed. We need more tools for children so they can move ahead in a digital world.”
