Play and learning come together for children in the Middle East
Technology can be a useful tool to encourage learning through play. Zain provides an e-learning and entertainment platform called Lamsa that educates children through a range of interactive content.
Available in Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan and Saudi Arabia, the Lamsa app includes games, stories, videos and colouring activities. It helps children to learn the Arabic language, including letters, numbers, shapes, colours and animals.
“Lamsa provides children with educational material that is fun and entertaining but they’re also learning in the process,” says Jennifer Suleiman, Chief Sustainability Officer at Zain.“It’s essential that there are more applications for children so they can move ahead in the digital world.”
