Featured speakers include Ahmad Abdulkarim Julfar (CEO of <strong>Etisalat Group<\/strong>); Dr. Khaled H. Biyari, (CEO of <strong>Saudi Telecom Group<\/strong>); and Scott Gegenheimer (CEO of <strong>Zain Group<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p>Sessions include \u2018Implementing Smarter Services\u2019 which features speakers from the Industrial Internet Consortium, Pacific Controls and Qualcomm; \u2018Creating Customer Value in Digital Commerce\u2019 with experts from PayPal and Visa; and \u2018Embracing the IoT Opportunity\u2019 with speakers from Huawei, Ooredoo and Samsung. Experts will take questions and you can discuss concepts with like-minded delegates. These include: an immersive \u2018Inside the Network\u2019 virtual reality display; a look at the mobile operator-facilitated authentication service \u2018GSMA Mobile Connect\u2019; an example of enriched calling from the new \u2018GSMA All-IP Business Guide\u2019; Etisalat and Huawei&#8217;s smart parking sensor that uses the mobile IoT and the mobile payments service \u2018Orange Cash\u2019. Furthermore, there is also information about the upcoming WRC-15, the outcome of which will be the single most important factor in determining the future availability of affordable, ubiquitous, high-speed mobile broadband services.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to the conference sessions, the GSMA Connected Living team are running the workshop <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsma.com\/solutions-and-impact\/technologies\/internet-of-things\/events\/mobile-360-middle-east\/\" target=\"_blank\">\u2018Realising the Potential of M2M in MENA\u2019<\/a> on Monday 19 October, in which participants will have an opportunity to discuss the IoT\u2019s most pressing issues including the deployment of Low Power Wide Area networks, IoT network security and the adoption of an embedded SIM specification.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, the Mobile Connect Summit offers a follow-up opportunity from the first Summit held in May.
