For the second year running, the GSMA<\/a> will host its Mobile 360 Series – Privacy & Security<\/a> event in The Hague (23 \u2013 24 May). Building on the success of the inaugural event, this year\u2019s Mobile 360 \u2013 Privacy & Security is designed to bring the industry together to explore the current state of network security and data privacy.<\/p>\n

As mobile technology becomes increasingly adopted by a number of different industries, the concerns surrounding the plethora of sensitive personal data stored by businesses also increase, making the management of privacy and security even more complex. It is critically important that organisations ensure their data is safe as it travels through the mobile network, and that they are monitoring for and adequately prepared to address any security breaches. Bullguard\u2019s CEO, Paul Lipman, a speaker in the \u2018Privacy and Security for Resilient Infrastructure<\/a>\u2019 session at the event, says cyber-attacks are becoming increasingly common, and \u201cwith connected devices expecting to reach 21bn by the year 2020, it is clear that privacy and security are top priorities in 2017\u201d.<\/p>\n

Mobile 360 \u2013 Privacy & Security will address the increasing importance of privacy and security, with a focus on the Internet of Things (IoT) and Big Data, through a two-day programme that includes keynote presentations, panel discussions and in-depth case studies from across many industries.<\/p>\n

The keynotes on day one will explore the key privacy and security challenges and opportunities faced by enterprises undergoing digital transformation, as well as how the privacy regulatory landscape is evolving and how it can best support the growing data economy. Across both days, conference sessions will examine topics including cyber fraud, IoT security and Big Data. On day two, attendees can delve into the impact of privacy and security in specific industry sectors at the three interactive workshops on telecoms, insurance and banking.<\/p>\n
