GSMA\u2019s M360 events draw the wider mobile ecosystem \u2013 operators, technology vendors, start-ups, investors and enterprises \u2013 to explore topics such as commercial 5G, fintech, IoT and emerging technologies that can translate policy ambitions into real-world impact.&nbsp;<br \/><br \/>The upcoming Digital Nation Summit Kuala Lumpur later this year will serve as a strategic lead-in to the flagship M360 event, bringing together ministers, regulators, and industry leaders to share best practices for building inclusive, secure, and sustainable digital societies \u2013 laying the policy groundwork for the region\u2019s next wave of growth.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The two events will closely align with and advance the region\u2019s long-term vision, \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/asean.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/ASEAN-2045-Our-Shared-Future.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ASEAN 2045: Our Shared Future<\/a>,<strong>\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp; adopted by leaders of the ten Southeast Asian nations at the 46\u1d57\u02b0 ASEAN Summit in May. The Kuala Lumpur Declaration calls for a resilient, innovative, and people-centred community by 2045, with strategic priorities spanning political-security, economic, socio-cultural, and connectivity domains. Central to this vision is the role of digital transformation and regional integration in driving inclusive and sustainable growth.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cHosting both this year\u2019s Digital Nation Summit Kuala Lumpur and next year\u2019s M360 ASEAN in Malaysia underscores our strong support for the region\u2019s 2045 vision,\u201d said<strong> John Giusti, Chief Regulatory Officer at the GSMA<\/strong>, during today\u2019s signing ceremony at MWC25 Shanghai. \u201cBy bringing together governments, mobile operators, and technology innovators, we aim to accelerate collaboration, investment, and inclusive connectivity across all countries of ASEAN \u2013 laying the foundation for a more resilient and people-centred digital future.
