The North America Regional Interest Group (RIG) developed its Women4Tech Working Group in order to provide a forum where all member stakeholders of the North America Regional Interest Group (RIG) can openly the gender and overall diversity gap in the industry, and maximize value and leadership skills for working-level women and their careers.
The Women4Tech Pledge
The Women4Tech Pledge is an industry initiative designed to help capable and ambitious women or members of a minority to join the tech sector. Launched at the GSMA Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona, during Cisco’s Connected Women event, it is now being taken forward in the United States by GSMA North America through Women4Tech.
By sponsoring the talented women of today to take up key roles in the mobile industry, we will help to transform the complexion of the tech industry at large. As the sector starts to draw on an ever broader pool of talent, we can expect transformational effects on the innovation pipeline.
