Regional Interest Group Meetings
The North America Regional Interest Group (RIG) is made up of experts from across the region’s mobile industry and its ecosystem. The RIG meets quarterly to discuss themes in mobile technology among them Mobile Identity, to Embedded SIM, to Connected Living and M2M Verticals. The Regional Interest Group’s role is to develop solutions for the demands of the industry and to collectively develop the future of the industry together. The GSMA has created regional working groups to address topics ranging from standards, to networks, to RCS among many others.

Next North America Regional Interest Group Meeting – May 6-10, 2019.
Our next GSMA North America meeting will be held May 6-10, 2019 (Mon-Thu) at the Swissotel Chicago in Chicago, IL.
The theme of our last meeting in St. Petersberg was “MIoT”, and the “theme” of the next meeting will be “Network Slicing for Verticals”. The working groups will meet Tuesday-Thursday and the CTO AG meeting will be held Friday. All delegates are encouraged to attend.
We will also hold a North America Women4Tech one-day Retreat on Monday, May 6th.
