Regional Interest Group Meetings
The North America Regional Interest Group (RIG) is made up of experts from across the region’s mobile industry and its ecosystem. The RIG meets quarterly to discuss themes in mobile technology among them Mobile Identity, to Embedded SIM, to Connected Living and M2M Verticals. The Regional Interest Group’s role is to develop solutions for the demands of the industry and to collectively develop the future of the industry together. The GSMA has created regional working groups to address topics ranging from standards, to networks, to RCS among many others.
The GSMA North America Working Groups are:

- GSMA NA Fraud and Security
- GSMA NA Terminals
- GSMA NA Smart Cards
- GSMA NA RCS Task Force
- GSMA NA Women and Diversity in Tech

Next North America Regional Interest Group Meeting – January 14-17, 2019.
Our next GSMA North America meeting will be held January14-17, 2019 (Mon-Thu) at the Don CeSar Hotel in St. Petersburg, FL.
The theme of our last meeting in Los Angeles was “5G NR and Security”, and the “theme” of the next meeting will be “MIoT”. A workshop will be held on Monday afternoon. All delegates are encouraged to attend.
We will also hold our fourth Women and Diversity in Tech Working Lunch on Wednesday, January 16th.
