The map shows public EMF limits applicable to mobile network antennas. Most countries in the world have adopted the EMF guidelines produced by the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP), which are the basis of European Council EMF recommendation. Operators that responded to the survey provided estimates of typical time taken to receive the permits needed to deploy antennas. The survey also asked if policies have been adopted to enable the efficient deployment of 5G and small cells. Answers not available for all questions for all countries.
