GSMA partners with one of South Korea’s top universities to deliver Capacity Building

December 3, 2016 | | Belinda Exelby

At the end of November we delivered our two-day GSMA Capacity Building course on the Internet of Things in partnership with one of the top three universities in South Korea – Yonsei University in Seoul – to an audience of PhD students, public sector representatives and delegates from the telecoms industry. The course was delivered by senior representatives from Capacity Building including Vikram Raval, Senior Policy Director, Johnny Kim, Strategic Engagement Director and Head of North Asia, and Belinda Exelby, Head of International Relations. We also held highly productive meetings with many senior Yonsei professors including the Vice-Vice Chancellor of the University and the Dean and Associate Dean of the Graduate School of Information. As a result, we will be working towards formalising our partnership to underpin future engagement in terms of standalone GSMA course delivery at Yonsei and the incorporation of GSMA training content into existing Yonsei graduate programmes. We hope to have further news to announce on this in the next few weeks. To discuss partnerships in your region please contact us.
