Children’s use of mobile phones – A special report 2014 provides a detailed comparison of children’s mobile phone and internet usage in Japan with that in seven European countries – Belgium, Denmark, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, Romania and the United Kingdom.

The GSMA and NTT docomo’s Mobile Society Research Institute have partnered on an on-going research project to investigate children’s use of mobile services around the world, publishing a report each year since 2009.

With the research project now in its sixth year, this report builds upon work previously conducted in other parts of the world and focuses on children in European countries for the first time.
