others who need to blacklist a device to submit data directly to the GSMA IMEI Black List. Based in Atlanta, Jason is active in the GSMA Fraud and Security Working Group and the regional Fraud and Security Working Groups.

Tyler Smith

Product Operations Manager, GSMA IMEI Services

Based in Atlanta, his team is responsible for on-boarding customers and monitoring access to all the GSMA IMEI Services platforms.

Highly accurate device intelligence and customer insights
GSMA Device Map gives deeper insight into the devices on your network, enabling businesses to drive higher ARPU and improve customer engagement. It provides analysis of device multimedia capabilities, chipset, CPU, dual SIM capabilities, OS and more. It also allows you to precisely measure the level of IoT vs mobile activity on your network.

The world’s most accurate registry of device status
GSMA Device Check allows users to instantly check if a device has been reported lost or stolen. By providing up to 10 years of a device’s history, GSMA Device Check helps resellers to identify and eliminate stolen devices before they enter the supply chain.

The industry identification service for all connected devices
The GSMA allocates, on behalf of the industry, Type Allocation Codes (TAC) which form the first eight digits of a device’s IMEI number. All devices that connect to GSM networks are required to be allocated with TAC, including IoT devices.
