ISWA 2024 : Waste to Wealth

The TakaTaka Ni Mali Foundation in partnership with the GSMA, will be hosting a special East African Plenary Session at ISWA 2024, focused on how technology and innovation can transform waste management practices in East Africa  

The International Solid Waste Association (ISWA 2024) World Congress event takes place from 15 – 18 of September and is the premier global event in the field of solid waste management. This year’s conference is themed “Waste to Wealth: Solutions for a Sustainable Future“. The event will bring together waste management professionals, government officials, industry leaders, policymakers, scientists, and emerging professionals from around the world to engage in discussions that promote scientific and technical advancements in sustainable waste management.
