For the last four years, T-Mobile has been working in partnership with the CoderDojo Foundation, an organization which raises awareness amongst children and adolescents of the opportunities enabled by learning programming skills.<\/span><\/p>\n

Together, the two organisations run weekly coding classes at the T-Mobile Headquarters in Warsaw, as well as in 14 other cities across Poland. The classes are available to anyone with an interest in learning to code, and the lessons culminate in an annual SuperDojo competition. In 2019 the SuperDojo was attended by some 350 young people.<\/span><\/p>\n

Consistent with the commitment made by T-Mobile as a signatory to the multi-stakeholder Declaration of Cooperation for the Safety of Children on the Web, the company works to provide young people with the necessary digital literacy skills to become responsible internet users. Through \u201cSafe Internet Laboratory\u201d workshops \u2013 which are addressed to parents, guardians and teachers, as well as children themselves \u2013 participants learn how to minimise and manage potentials risks online. In the 2 years since the programme began, T-Mobile\u2019s workshops have trained almost 5,000 children and over 8,000 adults on how to stay safe online.<\/span><\/p>\nBack to impact area<\/a><\/span>\n\n
