Additionally, the company carried out educational activities through its Smartphone and Mobile Safety Classes, offering information and raising awareness about special fraud and how to protect against it. These efforts were led by KDDI and contributed to enhancing users\\u2019 safety awareness and reducing the risk of fraud. Scalability and Replicability: The low-cost nature of the initiative makes it scalable across other regions and replicable by other mobile network operators. ustPay SDK so far is only being used by around 1 million customers, a penetration of 5% considering that 85% of the population, 22 million in total, already have bank accounts. With both the Government of Sri Lanka (GOSL) and the Central Bank of Sri Lanka driving digital payments, the number of monthly validation requests is expected to grow.<\\\/p>\\n<!-- \\\/wp:paragraph -->\\n\\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\\n<p><strong>Two-layer fraud prevention<\\\/strong><\\\/p>\\n<!-- \\\/wp:paragraph -->\\n\\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\\n<p>Dialog implemented a comprehensive two-layer fraud prevention approach instead of relying solely on reactive suspension of problematic providers after customer complaints.\\u00a0<\\\/p>\\n<!-- \\\/wp:paragraph -->\\n\\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\\n<p>Dialog deployed Evina's\\u00a0DCBprotect\\u00a0system directly on their payment authorization and consent pages where customers provide final consent for VAS subscriptions. The\\u00a0DCBprotect\\u00a0system\\u00a0operates\\u00a0by scanning user behavior patterns on the consent page in real-time and comparing them\\u00a0against\\u00a0a comprehensive database of known fraud signatures and malicious link patterns\\u00a0observed\\u00a0globally. When fraudulent activity is detected at this critical payment stage, the system\\u00a0immediately\\u00a0blocks the transaction from proceeding, preventing unwanted subscriptions before they occur.
