This will avoid unsolicited texts or calls to the new phone number owner and allow the digital service provider to manage the impact of the phone number owner changing; for instance to allow the new phone number owner to register an account, to assist an existing user locked out from their account when two-factor authentication relies on their now abandoned number; and to avoid unauthorised account access by the new phone number owner. \u200b<br>\u200b<br>By integrating data from the following API, the system can verify the user&#8217;s identity without requiring intrusive
