It\u2019s now entering a new phase,<strong>&nbsp;transitioning from adoption to monetization,<\/strong>&nbsp;offering APIs for SIM swap detection, device location, quality-on-demand, edge compute, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">BTS\u2019 entry into Open Gateway reflects a&nbsp;<strong>strategic focus on identity-centric APIs<\/strong>, including SIM Swap, Number Verification, and Know Your Customer (KYC) use cases. With over&nbsp;<strong>6 million API requests handled daily<\/strong>, BTS brings proven infrastructure, scale, and deep expertise to help accelerate the initiative\u2019s commercial rollout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2023, GSMA launched Open Gateway as a global standardization effort built on the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsma.com\/solutions-and-impact\/technologies\/networks\/operator-platform-hp\/camara-2\/\">CAMARA open-source project<\/a>, co-developed with the Linux Foundation. CAMARA provides the&nbsp;<strong>reference architecture for developer-friendly, harmonized APIs<\/strong>, enabling seamless integration across operators.
