She has also completed studies at Berkeley University (USA) and EDHEC de Lille (France).<\/p>\n<p>Elena joined Telefonica in 2000. Since then, she has held prominent managerial positions at Telefonica International and Telefonica Latinoam\u00e9rica, in the units of Large Corporations, Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) and Consumer businesses. <\/p>\n<p>From 2014 to 2016, Elena was the BI &#038; Big Data Global Director at Telefonica Group, responsible for leveraging customer insights for internal use and external monetization, leading the transformation of Telef\u00f3nica into a data-driven company.<br \/>\nIn 2016, Elena was designated CEO of LUCA, Telefonica\u00b4s Data unit to provide Big Data &#038; AI services to corporate customers.<\/p>\n<p>Before joining Telefonica, she worked for McKinsey and HI Holding \u2013 Iberdrola (Spain) and Mitchel Madison Group (USA).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Elena is the Global Director of Product &#038; Business Operations at Telefonica IoT&#038; Big Data, helping enterprises and governments in their digital transformation through the combination of Internet of things, Big Data and Artificial Intelligence.
