By harnessing the power of data and cellular connectivity, intelligent transport systems and smart mobility solutions enable more efficient transportation, optimising the flow of people and goods and ensuring smoother transportation networks.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-welcome-to-the-era-of-smart-mobility\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Welcome to the Era of Smart Mobility<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The GSMA Smart Mobility community explores how mobile operators\u2019 services, capabilities and business processes can enable smart mobility and intelligent transport systems to deliver more efficient transportation and better outcomes across the mobility ecosystem:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Efficiency and sustainability<\/strong>: enabling more efficient transportation through improving routes and traffic management, minimising delays and congestion, and reducing fuel\/energy consumption and related greenhouse gas emissions.
