IoT Strategy Group<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

The IoT Strategy Group evolves from the previous GSMA Mobile IoT Forum and GSMA Tech Enablers Group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

The Group is a limited membership group to ensure it is nimble to deliver for the needs of all members. The aim of the Strategy Group is to promote IoT technology and capabilities and accelerate the adoption of 5G IoT solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This Group works across horizontal enablers and looks for attributes like roaming and energy efficiency that will help to meet the needs of industry verticals, such as utilities, manufacturing, etc. Action Groups will be created by the Strategy Group to work on these attributes that typically operate for around 6 months before publicly disseminating this information. Members of the IoT Forum can participate in these activities as well as suggest Action Groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Action Groups are focused, time-bound collaborations of like-minded professionals working together to address key technical challenges and enhance customer education within the IoT ecosystem. Each group runs for 6 to 9 months and typically produces valuable deliverables such as whitepapers, implementation guidelines, and expert technical recommendations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participation is open to all members of the GSMA IoT Forum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
