IoT was a major theme at this year\u2019s Mobility Live and featured in a series of keynotes, debates and demonstrations. In this short video, Mobile World Live\u2019s Kavit Majithia summarises the most salient issues in IoT that arose at the event.
\nThis video contains IoT panel discussions with speakers: Ralph de la Vega, President & CEO of AT&T Mobile & Business Solutions, Edenilson Fleischmann, President & CEO of Indra USA and Joe Mosele, VP Business Development \u2013 internet of things, AT&T Mobility. Edgard Sammour of General Electric Company also discusses the critical importance of low power<\/a> solutions as a way to accelerate the uptake of IoT in the utilities sector.
\nKavit Majithia also interviews Ericsson following the recent announcement of a partnership between the Swedish technology giant, AT&T and Altair. The fruit of this partnership is \u2018LTE Power Saving Mode\u2019 which can greatly reduce power demand, meaning that that devices that typically have a battery life of 2-3 months, can now have up to ten years liveability.
