The challenges facing the utility company today are many-fold, from changing regulatory requirements, aging infrastructure, and pressures to cut operating costs, to the need to incorporate distributed renewable sources of energy. Transition to the more flexible, automated, reliable, safe, and secure generation, transmission and distribution grids is crucial for addressing these challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mobile industry will be a key partner for the utilities in this transition process.
