While ignoring unfamiliar numbers may help people avoid potential scams, it also means legitimate and important communications are being missed. Banks cannot warn customers about suspected fraud, patients miss healthcare appointments, utilities struggle to provide service updates, and businesses find it harder to reach their customers. This negatively impacts customer experience and increases cost to serve for businesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A range of branded communications solutions are emerging, but without a common global framework, the market risks becoming fragmented and inconsistent.
