This follows an announcement from the operator that it would also be conducting 4G and 5G Open RAN trials in key markets this year.<\/p>\n<p>Radio network virtualization and open interfaces, may help the industry move faster in 5G, by reducing the unit TCO for 5G networks, and accelerating innovation in the supply chain. The GSMA is working together with the industry to move faster in the evolution to Open RAN interfaces and RAN virtualisation.
