The goal is to develop cloud-based 5G radio solutions for enterprise use cases. The partnerships will involve a degree of integration of Nokia\u2019s open RAN, cloud RAN and edge cloud technologies with the cloud infrastructure of the three webscalers.<\/p>\n<p>The partnerships underline the importance of an open and interoperable ecosystem of network and cloud technologies. Part of the significance is that RAN solutions are performance sensitive. Hosting them in the public cloud is a signal that faith in public cloud performance and capabilities is growing.<\/p>\n<p>As 5G drives renewed interest in B2B use cases, these partnerships should help generate new solutions and go-to-market strategies for different industry verticals, expanding the reach of open RAN, cloud RAN and edge cloud technologies.
