In the US, T-Mobile US announced a large language model (LLM) in collaboration with Dialpad to generate conversational summaries of business calls or meetings. In France, Orange Business is offering a software-as-a-service product (using LLMs from French startup LightOn) and a GPU-as-a-service product to enable enterprises to host genAI projects. Meanwhile, KDDI has invested in AI startup Elyza to deliver genAI solutions to enterprises and local governments.<\/p>\n<p>GSMA Intelligence <a href=\"https:\/\/data.gsmaintelligence.com\/research\/research\/research-2023\/b2b-drives-operator-revenue-growth-as-digital-transformation-of-verticals-accelerates\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">research<\/a> shows that while B2C services are the largest contributor to operator revenue, B2B is now the main growth driver as enterprises and governments increasingly adopt digital solutions and value-added services provided by operators. These announcements highlight the opportunity genAI provides for operators to expand their enterprise products portfolio and drive B2B revenue growth. They also emphasise the role of partnerships with other ecosystem players to develop the required capabilities, as demonstrated by the collaboration between the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsma.com\/newsroom\/press-release\/gsma-and-ibm-collaborate-to-accelerate-ai-adoption-and-skills-for-the-telecoms-sector-with-launch-of-generative-ai-training-program-and-industry-challenge\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">GSMA and IBM<\/a> that, among other focus areas, aims to help operators to explore innovative use cases across vertical sectors.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mobileworldlive.com\/t-mobile-us\/t-mobile-us-dialpad-launch-ai-call-features-for-businesses\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mobile World Live<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mobileworldlive.com\/orange\/orange-business-tackles-genai-with-enterprise-products\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mobile World Live<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mobileworldlive.com\/operators\/kddi-taps-local-start-up-to-advance-genai\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mobile World Live<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In the last week, several operators have announced new products that utilise generative AI (genAI) to deliver enhanced business solutions for enterprises.
