Digital Trust Summit Session 1: Strengthening Digital Trust \u2014 Policy and Governance Responses to Scams and Fraud<\/strong><br>11:30 \u2013 12:30 | Grand Ballroom<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Every scam that reaches a user undermines trust in ASEAN&#8217;s digital economy.<\/strong> This session opens with a short framing that sets the stakes for the discussion ahead, before launching two major GSMA research publications \u2014 the Digital Nations ASEAN 2026 Report: Building Trust in ASEAN&#8217;s Digital Future, and the GSMA ASEAN Consumer Scam Survey Report 2026 \u2014 offering the latest regional data on consumer experience and policy priorities. These insights set the stage for the policy leadership panel, <em>&#8220;Building ASEAN&#8217;s Coordinated Response to Scams and Fraud,&#8221;<\/em> where policymakers, regulators and industry leaders explore practical approaches to strengthening trusted communications, digital identity and cross-sector collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>3. Digital Trust Summit Session 2:<\/strong> <strong>From Trust to Participation: The Technologies Powering Inclusive Digital Nations<\/strong><br>13:30 \u2013 14:45 | Grand Ballroom<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Trust is not the destination \u2014<\/strong> it is what enables people to participate confidently in the digital nation. This session opens with an address exploring technology&#8217;s dual role as both a driver of digital inclusion and a challenge requiring robust safety frameworks, before moving into a fireside conversation in which a global advocate for family and youth online safety joins UNICEF youth leaders to explore what builds trust in digital services and AI for the next generation.
