In November 2014, the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) published plans for its 2.6 GHz auction, which was subsequently delayed due to administrative requirements but is anticipated to take place in the first half of 2015. GSMA provided the NCC with an industry response in December 2014 detailing international best practice for auctions and calling for Digital Dividend spectrum to be auctioned together with the 2.6GHz band.
