The GSMA co-hosted an Asia Policy Forum with the Malaysian Government during the KL Converge event in September. The workshop brought together many regulators from south-east Asia (ASEAN), the ITU Deputy Secretary General, and C-level executives from the mobile industry. The forum facilitated constructive discussions between the industry and governments on key issues including the Internet economy and the critical need for more mobile spectrum.
