The GSMA hosted a workshop in Pakistan focussing on next steps for growing the country’s mobile sector. The workshop aimed at facilitating discussions on the on-going telecommunication policy review, and continuing the discussions from the previous two GSMA workshops on the spectrum roadmap and mobile taxation policy. The workshop was well attended by senior officials, including Minister Anusha Rehman, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority Chairman Dr. Syed Ismail Shah, Member Telecom Mudassar Hussain and Frequency Allocation Board Executive Director Shahzad Sami.
