The GSMA partnered with the ITU, ICANN and the Internet Society to arrange a policy forum in Bangkok in June. This event examined the various national aspirations to build more connected societies, and presented new pieces of research and analysis on how nations can pursue these goals. The afternoon session dealt with the key role played by long-term spectrum planning. The event was attended by around 100 senior industry players from Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan and the Philippines.
